The U.S. sanctions against Burma do not affect existing investments. Unocal, still in Burma, has a page supporting their work in Burma. Here is a compilation of why sanctions and divestment should occur. What is Unocal? In their own words, "Unocal is the world's largest independent energy resource company". For a real laugh (or is it a cry?) visit Unocal's Statement of Principles. Here is a U.N. report on the human rights situation in Burma (called Myanmar by the military dictators).

Read the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. And visit the United Nations.
